More than Money: April Community Note
by Subomi Plumptre

In 2017, Kola Oyeneyin and I set out on a bold mission — to help the honest & hardworking to create wealth.
Today, through our Cooperative, we’ve supported over 4,000 subscribers on their journey to long-term wealth.
The Numbers Speak
With an average investment tenure of 3 to 5 years, the numbers speak for themselves. People trust us with their money — and we carry that responsibility with deep commitment.
What brings us the most joy is knowing that 45% of our members have achieved a level of financial independence. They’re able to meet living expenses from their investments. Parents have paid school fees for their children. Other members have expanded their businesses.
We’re also proud to be the first cooperative to back a Netflix #1 movie — The Black Book. This is real-world impact, and we are proud to have built such a community.
In our community, we continue to do everything possible to secure some of the best rates in the market for our members, using the power of the collective. And we protect their interests by offering candid advice during investment planning sessions.
Today, we offer some of the most competitive Naira and Dollar yields available — up to 25% in Naira and up to 15% in USD.
We’ve also partnered with a global fund to ensure Africans finally have a seat at the international wealth table. No longer will we be excluded simply because of the colour of our passports.
Advocating for Our Community
Recently, we’ve been vocal about responsible risk — especially given the rising popularity of Debt Instruments in Africa. These instruments are not principal guaranteed, and we have encouraged our members to invest from a place of knowledge.
To support this advocacy, we’re upgrading our free investment course with cutting-edge AI tools. Soon, it will be available in multiple languages, starting with French. You can take the course here.
Our Team is Expanding
We are approaching the 9 year mark now — and we are growing. We’re building a stronger organisation.
We’re also seeking a new office space for our fund operations.
To deepen our staff’s competencies, we’ve launched a full-fledged training program to nurture the next generation of intrapreneurs and product leaders.
Do you know someone who shares our values — Character, Competence, Candor, Courage and Community?
If so, we’d love your recommendations for management-level roles in Investment Operations, Accounting, HR, Equities Trading and Sales.
Please visit the careers page on our website to share our open roles.
I thank everyone who’s a member of our community. It’s been a privilege to serve you.
