I watched the movie, The Old Guard. The lead character, Andy was concerned that she wasn’t having enough impact on the world relative to her gifts. Like nothing she did really mattered.

Oftentimes, we are too close to our lives to have a comprehensive view of our timelines. We cannot see all the pieces we have moved or the imaginations we have sparked. How many people went on to do great things because of us.

Any time I feel weary about my place in the world, I remind myself I am living a purposeful, progressive and productive life.

I know life can be tiring. I get tired too. But what you do matters. Someday, it will all finally make sense.
