I am a high achiever with a very creative mind. I am also a realist.

I have learnt that I cannot thrive emotionally or exist in peace, outside of the presence of God. That means I must nurture that presence by spending time with him. In addition, I cannot thrive intellectually or creatively outside of the word of God. And so, I must read it constantly.

That is just how my mind and heart work.

My best ideas come from prayer and from reading the Bible. The time I spend talking to God calms me down and ensures my brain doesn’t overheat, burn out or become consumed with worry.
